For our ECO-EVERYWEAR fabric garments, we utilize TENCEL™ Modal, a sustainable, carbon-neutral fabric produced by Lenzing. TENCEL™ Modal is derived from beechwood trees, which grow rapidly and require significantly less water than other eco-fabrics like organic cotton and bamboo. The production process is designed to recover up to 95% of processing chemicals, and environmental impacts are further mitigated through the use of solar power and other sustainable techniques in the factory.

Lenzing employs a unique process where the color is embedded directly into the fiber matrix, conserving resources such as water and energy during fabric production. Tests have shown that processing TENCEL™ Modal COLOR requires up to 80% less energy and saves up to 75% of water compared to standard fibers. This innovation addresses the environmental concerns associated with traditional dyeing processes, which can be particularly harmful even in the most eco-friendly fabrics.

Lenzing also employees a unique process whereby the color is embedded directly in the fiber matrix. Resources, such as water and energy, are spared when producing fabrics. Tests prove that processing Lenzing Modal® COLOR requires up to 80% less energy and saves up to 75% of water (in jet dyeing)* in comparison to standard fibers. This is incredible because, in even the most eco-friendly fabrics, the dying process can be extremely toxic.
